Jack Carson Photo Collection
These are a selection of photos donated by the family of Jack Carson (1909 -2004) to Sam Gibson who very kindly loaned them to me for the website. Jack and his wife Rachel had Carson's Newsagents on Dumbarton Road (between Agamemnon Street and Shaftesbury Street) for many years. They then ran the Post Office at Parkhall shops until Jack's retirement. He was a special constable and also a member of Clydebank Camera Club.
